This week, for week three, we were provided with videos from Brian Halligan on entrepreneur marketing. I liked these videos because I love marketing online; because it has the biggest audience and is open to anyone. I really enjoyed his tips and definitely stored them in my thoughts to put them into play in the near future. In video 2, in particular, he showed a diagram of the internet and the different links that connect it. An important concept I grasped from this video is that if your business has an add on the internet, you want multiple links on other sites linking to your site. Another thing I took from this video is that you have to have a remarkable trait for your product and have a ton of content that attracts multiple links. Apparently, the more key points that are in your web page content are all different internet searches so that would move up your spot on Google. He also states that all of these links also have the potential to spread to other social media sites like twitter and Facebook for example. These tips really hit home for me and now I know that great marketing on the internet means you have many different links, appear on a lot of different sites, and your product is a great idea with good content.

Encounter with an Entrepreneur
I had an encounter with an entrepreneur this week. The CEO of my company I work for, Sequence Heath, came to the office this week. Our CEO founded and created our company. The company has been in place since 2002 providing healthcare organizations with systems and services that significantly increase patient volume. Our CEO travels all over the country to sale our services to large health care providers. Just recently he even traveled to Bermuda and landed an over seas deal. He even created on of the technological data systems that we use everyday for a majority of our practices. The central office is located in Georgia. The call center use to be too, but they moved in to Cullman, AL, in 2016. It was so awesome to get to see him in action and in control of the office. Just knowing he put so much of his own time and money into the place and watching it grow gives me chills.

Random Thoughts from Visiting a Business Today
Today I visited a pizza grill and bar in downtown Birmingham. I really loved the atmosphere, it felt very inviting. They were playing upbeat music and the floor plan was very open. None of the doors were closed and a lot of walls seemed to be missing. It was free and breezy but I still felt warm and secure. It was a very cool and collective place to get a bite to eat and enjoy the downtown perspective. If you were trying to cut loose you could get a drink. Even if you were not drinking it was still a very fun place to be. They had a mechanical bull and a few big TV's with different shows on each one. I really liked the playful and chill dynamic of the bar and grill. It definitely drew me in and made me want to spend money.
